Russell’s birthday present to me last April 27, 2013.

I celebrated my birthday last Saturday with my highschool friends and some of my relatives. It was unplanned celebration. I didn’t expect na pupunta sila. Kahit simpleng handaan lang ang nangyari naging masaya naman, tawanan, asaran at kung ano-ano pa.

Hindi lang pala yan yung present sakin ni Russell, kasi nagdala din siya ng Carbonara na siya mismo ang nagluto at nagprepare. Ang nangyari kasi niyan…

Habang nagkakasiyahan kami ng friends ko, bigla silang napatigil at nang-asar tapos may narinig akong nag-gigitara. There he is singing “Grow old with you”, nanghaharana kumbaga. After niya kumanta, nilabas na niya yang necklace tapos pinatalikod ako then sinuot niya sakin. (eeehhh :”>)

Tapos nilagay na ni mama yung Carbonara sa table, dala nga daw ni Russell. Yung sa Carbonara thingy, alam ko na un pero yung isusurprise niya ako na tutugtog at may necklace di ko alam yun hihi. He surprised me talaga kasi ang sabi niya malelate siya ng dating tapos andun na pala siya sa harap bahay. Tsk. hihihi :”>

Tapos ayun masaya naman ako nung Saturday.

Nung sunday, birthday ko talaga. Wala talaga akong plano, gusto ko lang magsimba kaya nagsimba ako kasama si Russell sa St. Joseph Parish sa Cubao. Ang ganda nga ng homily eh. After namin magsimba pumunta kami sa Robinsons para tumambay lang. Naisip ko nga ang simple lang nung birthday ko pero ang saya-saya talaga. Yung conversations namin ni Russell nakakatawa. Basta ang saya ko with him.

Despite of great day, I didn’t forget to thank God for another year He gave me to live, to experience life, and gave me another chance to make my life better.
